Who Are WeWe were born and raised right here in the heart of the Bronx. From Allerton to Woodlawn and everything in-between, we have come together to increase public health awareness and make a meaningful impact on our neighborhoods.

Most Healthy Bronx, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) Nonprofit New York Corporation.
We are dedicated to raising and promoting public health awareness in the Bronx. This goal is pursued through educational efforts and advocacy initiatives tailored to informing and motivating Bronx residents to be healthy.
Why Are We Doing ThisFrom 2010 onward, the Bronx has ranked dead last (62nd out of 62 counties in New York State) in the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s County Health Rankings & Roadmaps program. The COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated these health disparities, and we can no longer remain idle. Despite a lot of progress over the past few years, deep problems still need to be solved. We aim to help solve them.
Our Six Core Principles
Racial JusticeOver 90% of the Bronx is Black and Hispanic. With such large disparities between our borough and the rest of the city, there’s no doubt that race plays a role in the Bronx’s situation.
Tackling PovertyHealth disparities are a marker of larger socio-economic disparities. We work towards fixing both issues, but cannot ignore the role poverty plays in these issues.
Make Big ImpactsThe first step in fixing a problem is to have awareness of the problem.

Our HistoryMost Healthy Bronx is a non-profit dedicated to raising and promoting public health awareness in the Bronx. Our goal is to be the healthiest county in the state (and then the country!). We pursue this goal through educational efforts and advocacy initiatives tailored to informing and motivating others to be as healthy as they can be.
COVID-19 showed that the Bronx has a lot of progress to make in improving the lives of its residents. We strive to ensure that Bronx residents are empowered and informed about their health. We engage with bureaucratic agencies to bring about change from a top-down approach |
